Her training philosophy is based upon developing a foundation of efficient technique using the ChiRunning method, gradual progress, and preparing the athlete for their next event both mentally and physically.
Pricing is as follows:
$80 for an 8 week 5K/10K program
$120 for a 12 week half marathon program
$200 for a 20 week marathon program
(Additional time may be required for base training depending upon the athlete's current fitness level.)
Each program includes an in person consultation, personalized training program delivered through Final Surge, technique video analysis at the beginning and midway through the program, and regular feedback and guidance to ensure the program remains dynamic and best suited to the athlete's goals.
Athletes must complete a ChiRunning session (group or private) before beginning their training program.
Amelia has successfully helped athletes train for all distances from the mile to the marathon and has herself achieved the following personal bests:
Half Marathon (downhill): 1:32:40
Half Marathon: 1:37:39
Completed 20 marathons including 3 Boston Marathons
